If you follow Sacred Threads by Corrina on TikTok, you will already know that Corrina is a very hands-on creator and healer. From rock tumbling series to polishing processes, she has always shared the work that happens behind the scenes, showing the time, patience and care that goes into every finished crystal.

After spending a considerable amount of time rock tumbling and perfecting polishing processes, Corrina set her sights on learning gemstone drilling – a skill that requires precision, patience and a great deal of respect for the material.

In Christmas 2025, she received her first gemstone drill and dedicated the next three months entirely to learning, practising and perfecting the technique. Gemstone drilling is not for the faint-hearted. Every material behaves differently, and both the stones and the drill bits can become extremely hot during the process. It requires careful pressure, constant cooling, and a steady hand.

Although she showed a natural ability within the first few days – something her community has come to expect – she did not rush the process. Instead, she shared the full journey with her community so people could understand the risks, the time, the precision and the learning involved. From difficult materials like larimar, to raw stones, moonstone and labradorite, every step was part of the learning process.

When she finally felt her work met the standards required for Sacred Threads, she closed the business for an entire month to prepare for the first drilled pendant launch – the Hindi Lunar range. Every piece was drilled, finished and prepared by hand. The entire range sold out within 24 hours.
